Preventive measures against the new coronavirus

Thank you for your continued patronage of Minakami Kogen Hotel 200.

To ensure our guests can use our hotel with peace of mind, we have implemented the following measures to prevent the spread of infectious diseases, including the new coronavirus.

We are taking the following measures.

1. All guest rooms are thoroughly cleaned, including disinfecting and sterilizing with hypochlorous acid-generated water.

We have strengthened the disinfection and sterilization cleaning of facilities that come into contact with guests, such as handrails, doorknobs, and room keys, as well as the back-of-house area.

2. The restaurant will implement further "safety and security measures" based on the "Basic Policy for Countermeasures against COVID-19."

・We will change the lunch service format at our restaurant, and will suspend the lunch buffet at Shirakaba Dining on the first floor of the hotel building.

We will be offering the menu of "Curry Shop Kaede." In addition, "Lunch & Dessert Buffet Magnolia" on the second floor of the Day Trip Ski Center will be closed.

- Tongs will be replaced every 30 minutes at the dinner and breakfast buffets, and sanitary gloves will be provided to customers who request them.

・We will provide as much space as possible between you when seating you.

・All cold Japanese dishes and some cold Western dishes at the dinner buffet will be served individually, and hot dishes, rice, and soup will be served by restaurant and kitchen staff.

・We will frequently disinfect areas where contact with an unspecified number of people is likely, such as juice dispenser buttons, doorknobs, and other areas where contact infection is suspected.

- After your meal, and after you leave, we will disinfect the tables, chairs, and casters with hypochlorite.

3. We have installed disinfectant in various locations (front desk, lobby, restaurant, ski center, etc.) and ask guests staying at the hotel to cooperate with infection prevention measures.

4. In order to ensure that our staff are able to serve customers in a healthy state, we pay close attention to their health management and instruct them to thoroughly wash their hands and gargle.

5. To prevent the spread of infection, some staff members will be wearing masks when serving customers.

6. Depending on the future spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), we may change the operating format of the buffet.

We would appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

To our guests:

  • Due to the spread of various infectious diseases, we ask that customers who have symptoms such as coughing, sneezing, or runny nose please wear a mask.
  • If you feel unwell or experience any symptoms during your stay, please inform a member of staff nearby.
  • If you experience even mild symptoms such as fever or cough during your stay, please inform the hotel staff.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
